Our company is based on the belief that the client's needs are of the utmost importance.

Our staff has perfected the "ACT!" system of recording tickler reminders for clients from

when an estimate is due to when your professional license and sales tax is due in order for

clients to maintain compliance. This service, in and of itself, has proved to be a valuable

service our clients are greatly appreciative of.

My daughter Brittani is our Office Manager. She was married on November 10, 2012 to

Raymond Martin, Jr. and she achieved her 10th tax season in 2013 working for Goodman's.

As she grew up with all the benefits and drawbacks of tax season in her life, it seems obvious

it is in her blood and I am pleased she has taken on the role she has within the company.  

My mom Vyvyan is our Receptionist and while she has been retired from her legal secretary

duties with Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick; she works in the office during tax season and for

special projects and is a welcome and necessary part of our working team. 

It is with the utmost grief that we inform everyone that Sarah is no longer with us. She was

killed on August 11, 2015 by a stray bullet to the head as she sat on her neighbor's porch in

the evening - by a gunman who was running down her street in East Toledo. She will be

missed terribly! She was a mother to 5 children and has set up a gofundme account that will

be used for her children's college education @ http://www.gofundme.com/supportsarahb .

Any donations to the education fund for the children would be appreciated.  

We have hired a new office assistant - Tracey - and would like to welcome her to Goodman's. We know this will be challenging for her and know that all of our clients will welcome Tracey with open arms.

The 2014 tax filing season was my 32nd Anniversary and I love it more now than I did

when I first took the leap! While the Govt. strives for "tax simplification", we don't see it

happening anytime soon! I would sincerely like to thank everyone for all the years of loyalty

and we look forward to creating new as well as maintaining old loyalties.

While we understand the impact current economic conditions have placed

on us in our personal as well as business lives, it is our policy to no longer extend credit privileges for services. No staff has authority to breach this policy. 

The IRS mandated e-filing beginning with 2010 income tax returns. While the IRS is mandating such, the cost of the tax program which allows the e-filing, isn't any cheaper and the IRS has added new forms as well. We want our clients to be prepared. Therefore, please understand that there are additional services that some clients request which will increase an invoice as well as the mandatory IRS forms or services will also increase an invoice. 

If you have any questions, please feel free to speak to Brittani regarding your invoicing concerns. Partial payments are accepted but the returns will not be released nor e-filed until payment is received in full.

All services are to be paid for at pick up or prior to mailing. Postage charges will be added to mailed income tax packages and must be paid in full prior to mailing. We offer credit card convenience which all staff is capable of handling this method of payment. Accounts remaining unpaid over 30 days will accrue a $35/monthly billing charge as well as a 2% monthly finance charge until paid in full.

FIRM PRIVACY POLICY

It is the policy of this firm to keep all information supplied to us for financial preparation of income tax returns and/or bookkeeping services to remain confidential and private to all outside parties except those present in the firm for the necessary need. No information will be supplied to any outside source unless your written acknowledgment is given which pertains to any insurance purpose, divorce proceedings, bankruptcy, personal loan, mortgage or any other legal necessity nor will any financial information be discussed with family or friends of client who are also clients of this firm. Confidentiality is highly advised and adhered to by all staff members.

We offer a 15% new client discount. As a thank you for your loyalty, we extend the same 15% dsct as a referral dsct to the client who referred the new business.
